INSEEC U. appoints Mathias Emmerich as Executive Chairman

INSEEC U. today announces the appointment of Mathias Emmerich as Executive Chairman. With the arrival of Mathias Emmerich, INSEEC U. is accelerating the implementation of the ambitious transformation in which the Group is engaged, in a context of changing educational practices. To carry out the group’s project, Mathias Emmerich will rely on José Milano, Managing Director, and on the work already carried out by the management team over the last few months.

An alumnus of ENS St Cloud, Sciences Po Paris and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, he holds a degree in Social Sciences. Having previously held the positions of Chief Operating Officer Performance of SNCF Mobilités (2015-2019) and General Secretary of Publicis Groupe (2009-2013), he brings to INSEEC U. his extensive management experience in various service sectors, particularly in public interest missions, as well as his digital expertise. Mathias Emmerich has a particular interest in the academic world and educational issues, both in terms of his initial curriculum and his ever-renewed taste for the humanities, economics and social sciences.

Françoise Gri, President of the Supervisory Board: “The arrival of Mathias at the head of the Group will enable us to accelerate the implementation of our growth project in the context of the transformation of our educational models, which is being accentuated by the current health crisis. Thanks to the work carried out over the last few months by all the teams, we are ready for this new stage of the collective adventure with the ever-renewed ambition to offer our students the learning experience that will enable them to build their future.”

Mathias Emmerich: “I am delighted and honoured to have been selected by the Supervisory Board to chair INSEEC U. The Group has demonstrated in recent years a vision of entrepreneurial and innovative private higher education that we must preserve in the future while consolidating its collective dynamic and shared tools. I am convinced of the willingness of all School and Programme leaders to join in this great common adventure at the service of our students and our mission of general interest.”

José Milano, INSEEC U. Managing Director: “Mathias comes at a turning point for the Group with a health situation that is impacting our business and leading us to accelerate the transformation of our model. We are ready with all our teams to take up this challenge, as we have been doing since the spring. This collective adventure is based on an ambition for development and on rare talents and skills.”
