ECE Paris-Lyon, INSEEC U. Engineering School, inaugured its new Mobilitech major: ‘autonomous and connected vehicles’, dedicated to driver assistance technology and connected vehicle technology.
On October 8th, on the Eiffel campus, under the patronage of Valérie Pécresse, President of the Ile-de-France Region and of the Ile-de-France Mobility program, Olivier Chesnais, Head of Studies for this major, presented this new program developed in cooperation with specialists in digital technology in front of students, alumni and professionals from the automobile sector.
20 years after creating the first specialized learning pathway in ‘In-vehicle systems’, ECE, always a pioneer in the field thanks to its positioning in the heart of the high-tech sector, has designed this innovative program in collaboration with 7 leading French corporations: PSA group, Renault group, AVL, Faurecia, Transdev, Valeo and Vector. The course consists of 190 hours of lectures, a 6-month internship and a technical project. Out-of-school immersion sessions in laboratories, techno centers, and experimental research and testing centers are also part of the program.
Christophe Baujault, Chief Executive of ECE Paris-Lyon, announced: “This first year, 32 of our students have chosen this course option in addition to 12 trainees on continuing education programs.”
The first year-group to choose this major and the school received the support of two patrons of the class : Nadine Leclair, SVP, Expert Fellow, Renault group, and Carla Gohin, CTO of the PSA group.
